Patent woes

I used legal zoom for a lease agreement and a durable power of attorney. This was fine.
I am the process of working toward a patent and I am frustrated with their product in that they lead you through lots of work only to hit you with never ending fees and disclaimers that basically say " you pay us and you agree to accept absolutely nothing in return? You don't get the completed form, you just get a referral to a very non committal law firm? try and print out a usable form. I dare you!

Just carefully select a patent agent or atty. you will get good advice and you will pay about the same in the end.

The problem I face now is finding an attorney or agent that will return my calls or stay with me on the project. This is your real challenge. I have not even disclosed what my invention is and they show no interest? I had one guy that was interested and I agreed to pay 10,000.00 dollars. He wasted my time for a week only to call me back and say he is too busy? I am going to stick it out and find a good agent or atty. I have had three "I'm too busy" responses so far. I may just get some books and do it myself. at least I can get some movement. Sorry for getting off in the weeds. my advice is stay away from scams that promise the world. This is not easy and if you play it smart it can pay off. Be patient and do lots of research.
